The German Association for Pattern Recognition (DAGM) announces its 33rd Annual Pattern Recognition Symposium to be held this time in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. The conference addresses recent advances in theory, methodology and applications in the fields of computer vision, pattern recognition and machine learning.

As an extraordinary feature of DAGM 2011, the conference will be held parallel to and in conjunction with the 35th annual conference of the
German Classification Society (GfKL, Gesellschaft fuer Klassifikation).

Authors are invited to submit full-length, high-quality papers presenting previously unpublished work directly related to the key subjects of the conference. Submitted papers will be reviewed based on the criteria originality, soundness, presentation, and empirical evaluation. DAGM is a single track meeting with oral and poster presentations and will include several keynote presentations and tutorials to be announced soon. The conference language for all papers and contributions is English.

We invite authors to submit papers related (but not limited) to the topics:

  • Image Analysis and Computer Vision
  • Machine Learning and Pattern Recognition
  • Mathematical Foundations of Pattern Recognition in Man and Machine, Statistical Data Analysis and Models
  • Applications in Nature Sciences and Engineering
  • Industrial Applications (e.g. Driver Assistance, Surveillance, Robot Navigation, Production Technology)
